After 3 years at George Mason (and 11 weeks of Maternity Leave) I’m starting a new job today! 🎉 I’m a Visual Information Specialist with Marine Corps University Press. I’ve written and deleted this post so many times simply because I didn’t know what to say, but that’s a lame and flimsy excuse to be silent. How do I raise Henry to be actively anti-racist, and be anti-racist myself? I’m going to make sure we as a family do better about consumption of diverse media and entertainment, and make sure our votes and dollars go toward causes that will help the disenfranchised. I have two spring babies 🌱🌱 One of them is here with us and turning 6 weeks old tomorrow. Our first baby isn’t here with us, but I carry her with me always (tests after Phee was born told us it was a girl💕).
